About
Technology for a more expressive digital world.
Curious Bobby Co. is a software company based in South Korea. We build desktop applications and developer tools for virtual creators.
Our story
Virtual avatars have become a real part of how people create, perform and talk to each other. Using them outside a virtual world, though, often means converting files, rebuilding setups, or giving up the details that make an avatar feel like your own.
We build software that removes that friction. Our first product, AVATAR LIVE, brings the VRChat avatar you already have to live streams, screen shares and videos — with its own shaders, PhysBones and Expression Menu.
Our work spans real-time 3D rendering, avatar systems, Unity tooling, VR tracking and Windows development, and our products are made for creators around the world from the start.
Principles
What we care about
Quality in the details
We test against real avatars and real workflows, not only the ideal case.
Considered experiences
Powerful features should still feel clear and simple to use.
Performance
Real-time software has to stay smooth while games, calls and streams run alongside it.
Reliability
Creators rely on their tools during live moments, so stability comes first.
Milestones
So far
AVATAR LIVE 1.0 is now available
Our first desktop application is now on sale on BOOTH. AVATAR LIVE lets you use your VRChat avatar just as it is — without VRM conversion — for streaming, screen sharing and video creation on Windows 10 / 11.
Avatar Exporter 1.0 on VCC and ALCOM
Curious Bobby - Avatar Exporter, the Unity Editor extension that prepares avatars for AVATAR LIVE, is available from our public VPM repository. Add it once in VCC or ALCOM and install it in your avatar project. The current version is 1.0.2.
